Crash diets make me really angry, these are a few of the reasons why!
Things I love: makeup, books, shoes, bags, gaming, baking, cooking, swimming, the gym (yes, really), films.
Things I hate: ignorance, poor grammar & punctuation, prejudice, injustice, avocado.

It makes me mad (and sad) that so many smart people continue to search for that quick fix by starving for a few days, rather than making the lifestyle changes necessary for long-term success.

I hope you don’t mind me reblogging, I probably should have checked first! It’s one of my biggest issues with the “health” world, in fact I spotted in my local supermarket this morning that the June issue of Women’s Health magazine is out, with the cover headline “Bikini Body Fast”! I think we live in a now now now kind of world, people don’t want to work at things or wait for things, but they don’t realise that crash diets and yoyo diets are actually worse for their health than doing nothing at all. I’ll get down off my soapbox now, before I go into a full-length rant!

Rant on, my sister!! This stuff really rules me up too.
And GAH!! Headlines like that – especially on a Women’s Health magazine — make me want to punch something.
